Next Tuesday, October 5th, we have the greatest hip-hop group of all time, De La Soul, releasing The Grind Date. My only question here is what happened to Art Official Intelligence? De La launched this project in 2000, called AOI. It was supposed to have three parts. Part one was Mosaic Thump. Part two was Bionix. Looks like Part Three got ditched.
The following Tuesday, October 12th, Mos Def releases his long awaited (and that cliche is actually appropriate here) sophomore album, New Danger. Can you believe that this is only his 2nd album?
