Lomax in Europe

The preeminent American ethnomusicologist, Alan Lomax, who is most famous for making the original recordings of many blues legends (Son House, Leadbelly & Muddy Waters to name a few) spent a good deal of time in Europe in between extensive field work in the southern U.S. Rounder has just released compilations from the Lomax library documenting the folk music of Italy and Spain.
